The Taiwanese Server Industry, 2Q 2018

The report finds shipment volume of the Taiwanese server system industry at full system and barebones levels, as well as at board level, declined sequentially but grew year-on-year in the first quarter of 2018 owing to the rollout of Intel's new processor. The overall server system industry is anticipated to have witnessed both sequential and year-on-year growth in the second quarter of 2018. Furthermore, the overall industry performance in 2019 is likely to be benefited by Intel's new CPU rollout in second half of 2018.
