VR (Virtual Reality) sickness has been a major factor affecting the wide-scale adoption of VR HMD (Head Mounted Display) among users. So far, there has been a lot of conjecture about the causes of VR sickness and verification has been made. Among various solutions, the adoption of VR-ready TFT-LCD (Thin Film Transistor-Liquid Crystal Display) panels has been proven effective for resolving VR sickness. However, only some vendors are capable of providing such panels. The scarcity in supply has caught market attention. This report analyzes the latest development of VR-ready panels and examines their opportunities.
