The working principle of electric dehydration equipment: After initial treatment in separation equipment, produced crude oil typically still contains 10%-30% water and inorganic salts. Before export, it requires further treatment in electric dehydration equipment to meet export standards. Furthermore, before refining, electric desalting equipment is required to mitigate damage to refining equipment caused by salty and watery crude oil, reduce refining energy consumption, improve refining efficiency, and ensure long-term stable operation of refining equipment. Electric dehydration equipment operates by using a high-voltage electric field and demulsifiers to aggregate small water droplets in the crude oil emulsion into larger droplets, achieving oil-water separation and deep dehydration. Typically, after treatment in the electric dehydrator, the water content of the crude oil is less than 0.5%, meeting export standards. Electric dehydration equipment is commonly used in oil wells and other locations where crude oil needs to be exported. After being processed by electrical dehydration equipment, crude oil still contains a certain amount of inorganic salts, such as NaCl, CaCl2, and MgCl2. Most of these salts are dissolved in the water contained in the crude oil or present in the form of emulsions. These inorganic salts can increase the equipment's energy consumption, clog process pipelines, and poison catalysts, necessitating further desalting with electrical desalters. Electrical desalters operate on the same principle as electrical dehydrators, except that they require the injection of clean water to further dissolve the inorganic salts. As the water is removed, the remaining inorganic salts in the crude oil are also removed. This product is widely used in oil and gas engineering, refining and petrochemicals, marine engineering, and clean energy. Downstream customers include Sinopec, PetroChina, CNOOC, Shandong Yulong Petrochemical Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Eastern Shenghong Co., Ltd., Rongsheng Petrochemical, Chambroad Holding Group, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, Qatar Energy, Petroleo Brasileiro S.A., etc.
