It is generally composed of oil sample collection and oil-gas separation, gas detection, data collection and control, communication and auxiliary components.
Online monitoring devices are divided into two types of online monitoring devices: multi-component and small-component, according to the number of types of gases detected. A small-component online monitoring device refers to a device that monitors less than 7 types of dissolved gas components in transformer oil. The monitored quantity is one or more of the characteristic gases, but should at least include hydrogen (H2) or acetylene (C2H2). A multi-component online monitoring device refers to a device that monitors 7 or more dissolved gas components in transformer oil. The monitored quantity should include 7 characteristic gases including hydrogen (H2), methane (CH4), ethane (C2H6), ethylene (C2H4), acetylene (C2H2), carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2). Oxygen, nitrogen and trace water are optional monitoring quantities.
