The optical fiber photometry system is a highly sensitive, highly specific, and highly real-time neuroscience research tool. Based on optical technology, the light source emits excitation light of a specific wavelength band, which is reflected by a dichroic mirror and then coupled to one or more multimode optical fibers by the objective lens.
