Downstream demand is concentrated in PP-rich applications such as automotive interior and exterior parts and TPO-type compounds, flexible packaging and specialty films, consumer goods and appliances for soft-touch and durability, hot-melt adhesives and sealants where polyolefin compatibility matters, wire and cable jacketing/insulation blends, and hygiene or medical nonwovens where softness and drape are valued.
The outlook for PBEs is supported by a structural shift toward PP-compatible softening and toughening solutions that preserve polyolefin processing efficiency and recyclability narratives, especially as OEMs and brand owners push for lightweighting, part consolidation, and simplified material systems.
