A fiber-coupled green laser is a laser device that transmits laser energy through an optical fiber and outputs green light. The core principle is to couple the light generated by a laser source (usually a semiconductor laser or a fiber laser) through an optical fiber to achieve efficient energy transmission and output. In this way, the optical fiber not only provides a transmission path for the laser energy, but also maintains the beam quality and stability during the transmission process. In order to generate green light, frequency doubling technology (such as second harmonic generation, SHG) is usually used to convert near-infrared lasers (such as 1064 nm) into 532 nm green light through nonlinear optical fibers or crystals. The advantage of a fiber-coupled green laser is that it can transmit the laser beam to places that are difficult to access or remote, and through the protection and transmission of the optical fiber, the laser beam has low loss and high quality, so it has a wide range of applications in laser display, medical treatment, scientific experiments, lidar and other fields.
