Currently, parking, braking and steering systems are the main areas in automobiles where rolling functional components are used - especially roller screws.

Because the ball screw efficiently converts between rotational force and linear force, the power of the motor can be quickly used as braking force, achieving high-precision control. By discretely controlling the braking force applied to the vehicle's four tires, cornering performance can be greatly improved. Both EV and HEV use both regenerative and friction braking methods. If this "energy regeneration" is fully utilized in friction braking control, the fuel efficiency of the car can be improved.
