The working principle of a thermal conductivity gas densitometer is based on the relationship between gas thermal conductivity and density. When a gas flows through a heating element, the thermal conductivity of the gas affects the heat dissipation rate of the heating element. By measuring the temperature change or heat dissipation rate of the heating element, the density of the gas can be inferred. Specifically, if the density of the gas increases, its thermal conductivity will also increase accordingly, resulting in faster heat dissipation of the heating element and more obvious temperature changes. Conversely, if the gas density decreases, its thermal conductivity decreases, the heat dissipation of the heating element becomes slower, and the temperature change is also smaller.
