Dual Flow Traveling Water Screen Market

The dual flow traveling water screen is an efficient water treatment device specifically designed to intercept and remove small debris from the water flowing through it. It consists of a series of rectangular screening mesh panels supported by two endless chains, which travel up and down between an upstream wall plate and a downstream partition. Water enters from both sides of the upstream wall plate and flows through the upstream face of the panels, where debris is captured. Clean water then exits through the back partition aperture. As the debris-laden panels rise above deck level, they are lifted by a shaft-mounted electric drive unit and the debris is ejected directly into a collection trough by a high-pressure washing system. This process ensures that downstream users, such as condensers, heat exchangers, spray-water circuits, membranes, and more, remain unobstructed and clean. The dual flow traveling water screen is particularly suited for deep pits and is an ideal choice for thermal and nuclear power plants, lng terminals, desalination or fertilizer plants, drinking water and irrigation plants, and other applications.
