The immersion ultrasonic scanning microscope is a non-destructive testing device based on high-frequency ultrasound. Its core principle is to use the reflection and scattering signals generated by the interface or defects encountered by ultrasound when propagating in the material, which are converted into electrical signals after being received by the probe, and then the three-dimensional morphology, defect distribution or mechanical performance parameters of the material are reconstructed through algorithms. Compared with traditional air-coupled ultrasound, the water immersion method can significantly reduce the energy loss of sound waves during propagation, improve detection sensitivity and resolution, and is particularly suitable for the fine analysis of samples with rough surfaces or complex shapes.
