Desiccant type Dehumidification is achieved by passing air through a honeycomb-shaped rotor impregnated with an adsorbent such as silica gel. Once it has adsorbed moisture, the rotor will become saturated if it continues to adsorb moisture. Therefore, the rotor rotates and moves to the regeneration zone. Heated air passes through the rotor to remove the adsorbed moisture. (The moisture-laden air is then exhausted.) This process is performed continuously to achieve stable dehumidification.
