The large amount of chromium added to the high chromium wear-resistant cast iron plate transforms the M3C carbide in the original white cast iron into M7C3 carbide. This alloy carbide has extremely high hardness, which gives the high chromium wear-resistant cast iron plate good wear resistance. At the same time, during the solidification process, the M7C3 carbide is isolated and distributed in a rod shape, which improves the toughness of the high chromium wear-resistant cast iron plate to a certain extent.
