Food-grade monohydrate crystalline glucose uses edible corn starch as the main raw material (accounting for 70-80% of the total cost, which must meet the GB/T 8883 standard for edible starch, controlling protein, fat and ash impurities). After conversion by a dual-enzyme method (α-amylase liquefaction + saccharification by saccharifying enzyme), it is supplemented with activated carbon (decolorization), ion exchange resin (desalting and removing impurities) and crystallizing agent (promoting crystallization). The production process is a high-energy-consuming process, requiring a large amount of steam for multi-effect evaporation and concentration (increasing the solid content of the sugar solution from 30% to 70-80%) and a cooling water system for crystallization. In addition, food-grade packaging materials (multi-layer woven bags or paper-plastic composite bags, 25-50kg/bag) are required.
