Phase sequence protection relay is an intelligent power protection device, which adopts microcontroller and digital processing technology, and integrates the functions of voltage display, overvoltage and undervoltage protection, phase loss protection and phase sequence protection. It can be widely used in various phase sequence protection relay systems to replace traditional phase sequence relays and overvoltage protectors.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in 2022, China"s power generation was 8.8 trillion kWh, with a year-on-year increase of 3.7%. And the top three power generation methods were thermal power, hydropower and wind power. The per capita electricity consumption of residents was 947 kW. In 2022, China"s installed power generation capacity were about 2.56 billion kilowatts, with a year-on-year increase of 7.8%. The utilization hours of power generation equipment in power plants of 6,000 kilowatts and above in the country were 3,687 hours, with a decrease of 125 hours over the same period of the previous year. According to data released by the International Energy Agency, the global economy gradually recovered in 2022. With the influence of the rising energy prices, the global electricity demand in 2022 was 26,776 billion kWh, which increased 1.9% year-on-year. The generating capacity was 28,642 billion kWh, with the increase of 1.8% year-on-year. Phase sequence protector, also known as phase sequence relay, is a protective relay that can automatically distinguish the phase sequence of the power supply. Its main function is to prevent specific electromechanical equipment from reversing the motor due to the reverse connection of the power supply phase sequence (the three live wires are reversed in sequence), so as to avoid accidents or equipment damage. The phase sequence protector plays an important role in the control loop to ensure that the phase sequence of the power supply is correct. Specific electromechanical equipment, such as elevators, central air conditioners, cranes, motors, etc., will cause serious accidents when the phase sequence of the power supply is reversed. Therefore, these devices must be connected with a phase sequence protector to ensure that the phase sequence is correct.
