However, health and safety concerns persist, as all forms of asbestos have been linked to respiratory diseases and cancer.
While chrysotile fiber cement plates remain in use in some parts of the world, many countries have banned or restricted their production and application due to health risks. In these regions, non-asbestos alternatives have become the standard.
Chrysotile fiber cement plates are resistant to weathering, chemicals, and pests, making them suitable for long-term use in harsh environments.
