Downstream, interleaving powder is used by float glass manufacturers, coated glass producers, laminated safety glass lines, mirror makers, and glass processors (cutting, tempering, bending, laminating). It is applied at the end of the production or processing line to protect glass surfaces and functional coatings during storage, shipping, and secondary processing, and it is later removed by brushing, air-knives, or washing before final fabrication. By reducing mechanical damage, alkali bloom, and mold stains, glass anti-mildew powder safeguards the quality of architectural glazing, automotive glass, solar glass, mirrors, and other value-added glass products, and indirectly supports downstream sectors such as construction, automotive, solar energy, and appliances.
