Fluoride-Free Proton Exchange Membrane Market

Fluorine-free proton exchange membrane is a new type of ion exchange membrane material. Compared with traditional fluorine-containing ion exchange membranes, fluorine-free proton exchange membrane does not contain fluorine and has better environmental performance. Fluorinated-free proton exchange membranes are usually made of polymer materials and have good chemical stability, temperature resistance and corrosion resistance, and can be used in a variety of fields, such as fuel cells, electrolysis of water for hydrogen production, etc. In the fuel cell, the fluorinated-free proton exchange membrane can be used as a proton transfer channel to transfer the protons generated by the fuel cell to the oxidant end to generate electrical energy. Because fluorinated-free proton exchange membranes have higher proton conductivity and lower resistivity, they can improve fuel cell efficiency and performance. In the electrolysis of water for hydrogen production, the fluorinated-free proton exchange membrane can be used as a separation membrane between the anode and cathode to prevent reaction mixing between the anode and cathode.
