When there is no upward vapor phase, the valve disc closes on the tray; when the vapor phase rises, the valve disc is impacted by the vapor flow and opens upward, and the opening height increases with the increase of the vapor phase quantity. The rising vapor passes through the valve hole and is dispersed horizontally by the action of the valve disc, bubbling out through the liquid layer, so that the vapor - liquid two - phase can fully contact and achieve the ideal heat and mass transfer effect.
