Biocide-free antifouling agents avoid the environmental hazards caused by the above-mentioned products, and significantly reduce the attachment of organisms such as barnacles on the hull by improving the smoothness of the hull surface. These antifouling agents are usually self-polishing materials or silicone polymer materials.
