The diluted extraction flue gas CEMS (Continuous Emission Monitoring System), that is, the flue gas emission continuous monitoring system, is a system used to continuously monitor the emission concentration and total amount of gaseous pollutants (such as sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, etc.) and particulate matter in fixed pollution sources (such as industrial flues, chimneys, etc.). Its core technology is to use the dilution extraction method to process flue gas samples for accurate analysis.
The system uses high-pressure zero gas (generally refers to gas that does not contain the measured substance and does not react with the measured substance) as a dilution gas, and mixes it with the flue gas after coarse and fine filtration through a specific device (such as a venturi throat, a flow restriction, etc.). In this process, the flue gas passes through the flow restriction hole at a constant flow rate under the action of the pressure difference, and is evenly mixed with the dilution gas to form a diluted mixed sample gas. Before the diluted mixed sample gas is transmitted to the analytical instrument through the inert sampling pipeline, it needs to be further pretreated to remove possible impurities such as moisture and particulate matter to ensure the purity and stability of the sample. The pretreatment process may include cooling, filtering, and voltage and flow stabilization. The pre-treated diluted sample gas enters the analytical instrument, and the concentration of pollutants therein is detected through a series of chemical or physical methods (such as spectral analysis, electrochemical sensing, etc.). The analytical instrument converts the detection results into electrical signals or digital signals for subsequent data processing and display. The system's built-in data processing unit processes the signals output by the analytical instrument and calculates key parameters such as the emission concentration and total emission of pollutants. These parameters can be transmitted to the environmental protection department or the enterprise control center in real time via wired or wireless means for remote monitoring and management.
