It mainly consists of storage containers for two - component foaming materials (like resin and hardener), a metering and pumping unit, a mixing chamber, a handheld applicator gun, and a control system. When in use, the metering unit precisely draws the two components from their storage containers and pumps them into the mixing chamber. Here, they are thoroughly blended. Then, the operator uses the handheld gun to spray the mixed foaming material onto or around the product to be packaged. The foam rapidly expands and cures, forming a customized cushioning layer that safeguards the product against impacts and vibrations during transportation and storage.
