The basic circuit of a non-inverting logic buffer consists of an amplifier and an input protection circuit. The amplifier is usually a common-emitter or common-collector amplifier that amplifies the input signal to the desired level and provides a stable output signal through the output port. They are commonly used to maintain the logic state of signals, adjust the level of signals, eliminate voltage drops in circuits, and provide current amplification.
