Water-based protective ink is an ink used to protect the surface of printed matter. It uses water as the main solvent and has the advantages of environmental protection, safety and efficiency. Water-based protective ink can improve the gloss, abrasion resistance, water resistance, chemical resistance and other properties of printed matter, and extend the service life of printed matter. Water-based protective ink usually covers the printed matter with a transparent protective film and can be printed using letterpress, gravure, flexo or screen printing methods. The main components of water-based protective ink are water-based resin, pigments, additives and water.
