Whole plasmid sequencing is a genome sequencing service based on high-throughput sequencing technology, which is specifically used to sequence and analyze the whole genome of plasmids. Both technologies can efficiently and accurately sequence the whole genome of plasmids.
The second-generation high-throughput sequencing technology constructs a whole genome library of plasmids and sequences the library using a high-throughput sequencing platform to obtain a large amount of sequencing data. Then, bioinformatics methods are used to perform quality control, alignment, sequencing depth and coverage statistics, and sequence splicing and assembly on the sequencing data, and finally the full sequence of the plasmid is obtained.
Nanopore sequencing technology is an innovative sequencing method. Its working principle is to pass a strand of DNA through a nanoscale pore, monitor and record the current change spectrum of the nucleic acid chain passing through the nanopore in real time, and identify the characteristic current signals generated by different bases as corresponding bases, thereby reading the nucleic acid sequence. This method has the significant advantages of ultra-long read length and real-time sequencing, and can more accurately sequence complex regions such as high GC content, repetitive regions, and hairpin structures.
