A continuous pyrolysis furnace is a specially designed heat treatment equipment, which is mainly used to cause a series of chemical reactions such as pyrolysis, oxidation, reduction, and reforming of polymers of solid organic matter such as biomass, sludge, tires, and industrial solid waste under the condition of complete or partial lack of oxygen through the action of an external heat source. In a continuous pyrolysis furnace, solid organic matter is placed in a specific reaction chamber, and sufficient heat is provided by an external heat source (such as a burner, an electric heater, etc.) to cause the organic matter to undergo pyrolysis in an oxygen-deficient or micro-oxygen environment. During the pyrolysis process, the macromolecular structure of the organic matter is cracked into small molecular substances, such as combustible gases such as CO, H2, and CH4, as well as microporous carbon with fixed carbonaceous bodies.
