An aspheric beam homogenizer is an optical element used to convert a non-uniform light intensity distribution in an input beam into a uniform light intensity distribution. It usually consists of an aspheric lens with a special curved shape that can effectively change the spatial energy distribution of the beam. In many applications, such as laser processing, lithography, medical imaging, etc., a beam with uniform intensity distribution is required.
