It is mainly used to connect the interface between high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and barrier layer materials (such as ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer EVOH) to solve the bonding problem between different materials. PE-g-MAH chemically reacts with the polar groups of EVOH through maleic anhydride groups, and has good compatibility with HDPE, thereby ensuring that the layers in the multi-layer structure of the fuel tank have a strong bonding strength and meet the sealing and mechanical performance requirements of the fuel tank in long-term use.
