Prostate cancer treatment: Lu-177 can combine with prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) to form Lu-177 PSMA, which is used to treat advanced prostate cancer. This treatment shrinks or kills tumor cells and relieves pain and other clinical manifestations of metastatic prostate cancer. Neuroendocrine tumor treatment: Neuroendocrine tumors express somatostatin receptors, so Lu-177 can bind to these receptors to achieve targeted therapy of tumors. Compared with traditional cancer treatments, Lu-177 treatment reduces hospital stay, does not affect healthy tissue, and is safe and well-tolerated.
