Automotive Engine Cooling Radiators are heat exchangers used for cooling internal combustion engines. Internal combustion engines are often cooled by circulating a liquid called engine coolant through the engine block, and cylinder head where it is heated, then through a radiator where it loses heat to the atmosphere, and then returned to the engine. Engine coolant is usually water-based, but may also be oil. It is common to employ a water pump to force the engine coolant to circulate, and also for an axial fan[1] to force air through the radiator.

According to data from the World Automobile Organization (OICA), global automobile production and sales in 2017 reached their peak in the past 10 years, at 97.3 million and 95.89 million respectively. In 2018, the global economic expansion ended, and the global auto market declined as a whole. In 2022, there will wear units 81.6 million vehicles in the world. At present, more than 90% of the world"s automobiles are concentrated in the three continents of Asia, Europe and North America, of which Asia automobile production accounts for 56% of the world, Europe accounts for 20%, and North America accounts for 16%. This, combined with household ownership of multiple vehicles and the replacement of aging fleets, resulted in an exponential increase in sales. Simple financing options such as leasing and installment payments make purchasing a vehicle for themselves accessible to individuals of all income levels. Manufacturers offer competitive rates as well as discounts on certain models to further boost sales. The above factors indirectly drive the demand for heat sinks by OEMs. East Asia is expected to account for a significant market share due to growing population; China’s emergence as a hub for automobile production due to low raw material and labor costs is expected to drive the overall automotive radiator market over the forecast period.
