The full name of polarizing film is polarizing film. The imaging of liquid crystal displays must rely on polarized light. All liquid crystals have two polarizing films tightly attached to the liquid crystal glass, forming a liquid crystal film with a total thickness of about 1mm. The main difference between the two is the different performance requirements for polarizing films. Black and white polarizing films include TN and STN, while color polarizing films are divided into two technical routes: TFT-LCD and AMOLED. Currently, LCD is the main industry, and as OLED panels continue to penetrate into large-sized products such as televisions, OLED is the main development trend in the future. However, there is still a small amount of production capacity for black and white polarizing films in China, and their applications and demand are relatively small.In 3D glasses, the polarizing film of the left and right glasses lenses is set to different polarization directions, usually horizontal polarization for the left eye and vertical polarization for the right eye. When the audience wears 3D glasses to watch a 3D movie, the image on the screen is divided into two images with different polarization directions, corresponding to the left and right eyes respectively. Due to slight differences in the images received by the left and right eyes, these differences are fused and processed by the brain, resulting in a sense of three dimensionality.
