Compared with AC cables, submarine HVDC cables have significant advantages in transmission efficiency, capacity and stability, and have become one of the core technologies for modern marine energy development and cross-border power grid interconnection.
The surge in green energy projects, such as offshore wind and solar power, requires submarine cables for long-distance power transmission. The increase in global renewable energy investment is directly driving demand for submarine high-voltage direct current (HVDC) cables.
